My stay at Sanctuary Lanta was overall pretty chill, but there were a few hiccups. The location right on the beach was definitely a highlight for catching sunsets and just relaxing, but the bungalow I had was a bit of a letdown due to its musty smell and cleanliness issues. Still, I got to enjoy the nice veranda with a hammock, which made up for some of it.

The bungalow I stayed in was dark, kind of musty, and not the cleanest. The bathroom had some bugs crawling around, and there were no mirrors, which was a bummer. I think the air-conditioned bungalows closer to the beach might've been a better option.

Service was decent but could be confusing with the bar situation and party noise. One night, I was kept up late by loud music and DJ equipment when I had an early diving trip the next day.

The place is directly on the beach, which is awesome for sunset views and lounging without shoes. It’s hard to beat that location, really.
